🪷To question all that you believe
a note to my younger self--and anyone else who needs to hear it
To question all that you believe can feel like facing death, but I promise, on the other side, there's life-- and freer breath.
When I was deconstructing my religion, this quote gave me comfort and courage:
“One doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.” — Andre Gide
In the notebook

Lovely, and I really like that quote, too. I'm curious: what made you decide to break the four lines into eight? Just wondering. You know poetry was never my strength! 😅
