This really hit home. As an introvert, I see downtime as when I recharge, reconnect with myself, and often where my best creative ideas emerge. Rest isn't the opposite of creativity. For me, it's an essential part of it.!

This is a lesson I have to keep learning, too, and especially avoiding the "lazy" shame narrative when I'm not as productive as I normally am. I've been trying to focus this month on resetting, and I think my vision for that was a lot of planning and goal-setting, but it's ended up being more downtime--what I probably actually needed all along! 😅✨
