🪷 What would someone who loves me say?
perspective shifting from self-pressuring to self-kindness
Sometimes a light clicks on inside.
The shadows melt away
like sunrise as I ask, “What would
someone who loves me say?”
This poem is similar to another recent one called “Like Someone Who Loves Me”—but I need lots of repetition on this theme!

I like this perspective better than "what would you say to a friend in this situation?" -- that never works for me. Just the act of thinking about a partner or friend or family member who cares makes a huge difference! ❤️
