Kindness is not: submission or surface harmony; not rigidness, righteousness, or uniformity; not nonchalance, sedateness, pleasantness, or cheer; not status-quo, comfort-zone, orderly veneer. Kindness is: connection from something real inside that can be moved. It's open hands and ears-- and heart-- and mind.
