Oh, I definitely have the same practice-forget-practice-forget pattern. πŸ˜… But mindfulness/self-observation is definitely the one thing I can point to that has lasting, meaningful effect. Recognizing when I'm struggling allows me to practice self-compassion, which often involves telling Jeremy to settle down!

This is a great essay and I'm looking forward to future installments!
